Good afternoon, 
 
December corn closed up 4 ½ at 4.8275 and March closed up 3 ¾ at 4.9775. November beans closed down a quarter of a cent at 13.6850 and January closed up a quarter of a cent at 13.8225.

  • All eyes are on next week's hot and dry weather
  • Supply concerns for soybeans is supporting the market
  • The USDA announced a sale of 7.3 million bushels of soybeans to an unknown location 
  • The Mississippi River's deteriorating water levels are driving up barge freight rates 
  • Those of you that had bushels enrolled in the Target Average Program will be seeing contracts shortly as the program ended 8/31
  • Reminder that markets will be closed Monday for Labor Day
