Energy Update | July 14th  

  • WTI is currently trading at $68.16, which is down $.30 cents.   The USLD NY and RBOB are down $.01 cent.  Propane is $.01 lower to start the week as well.  
  • Crude prices are stronger this morning as traders brace for additional US sanctions on Russia that could tighten global oil supplies. 
  • Traders are closely watching OPEC+ output decisions and U.S. inventory data for some direction in the market this week. 
  • The S&P 500 managed to mark record highs despite a new tariff announcement.
  • Tuesday's Consumer Price Index (CPI) report should give further directions for equities this week.
  • Midwest propane inventories have been building in recent weeks despite summer fill ramping up.
