The market closed in the red to end the week. September corn closed down 12 ¼ at 5.21 and December corn closed down 12 at 5.3025. August beans closed down 45 ¼ at 14.875 and November beans closed down 15 ½ at 13.8250.

The market closed in the red to end the week. September corn closed down 12 ¼ at 5.21 and December corn closed down 12 at 5.3025. August beans closed down 45 ¼ at 14.875 and November beans closed down 15 ½ at 13.8250.
- Weather looks to be favorable well into the first half of August
- Lots of volatility this week from the Russia/Ukraine Black Sea headlines
- Today it was said that Moscow shot down a Ukranian missile over Russian City and an explosion was reported to have hit an oil refinery
- We have seen flash sales of new crop beans the past three days which is a good sign
- Make sure you are up to date on your bean contracts, anything delivered late will be discounted.
