Good afternoon,
Corn and soybeans once again struggled. July soybeans were down 18^4 to put the last trade at 14.17^4. July corn, on the other hand, played both sides of the card having a low of 6.01 and a high of 6.10^4, leaving the contract up a quarter of a cent. Weather outlooks have tilted slightly wetter and cooler, which could delay planting in some regions of the United States.
Most agricultural contracts were held down by the continuation of crude and natural gas moving lower. In some instances, markets were two to three percent lower on the day. This definitely had a spill over effect on commodities.
